The Retreat on the Upper Green River is a 17.9-acre parcel completely surrounded by national forest, a true inholding in one of the most breathtaking valleys in the Rocky Mountains, the Upper Green River Valley. The Green River creates the western border of this spectacular property with over 1,700 feet of direct frontage only steps from the main residence offering excellent angling opportunities.
In 2007, the current owners constructed a custom log home and barn, reminiscent of classic western design and architecture. The main one bedroom, one bath home is 810 sqft and was handcrafted with timbers collected in the nearby national forest.
The barn is 3,452 sqft, with two bedrooms and one bath, and was custom built by Bear Creek Logs in Montana and erected on site. This classic barn designed was closely modeled after Jackson Hole’s iconic TA Moulton Barn, one of the most photographed barns in the United States.
