The resort town of Jackson Hole is 33 miles to the southeast and offers commercial air service, endless all-season recreation and cultural amenities.
Acreage: The 12.6-acre Lazy K Ranch offers a diverse wildlife-rich setting complete with open meadows, wetlands and healthy riparian corridors thick with willows offering protection and cover for the valley’s native species including moose, deer, cranes, waterfowl and birds of prey. There are two large ranches bordering the ranch to the north and west, both of which are protected by conservation easements. The neighboring ranches offer incredible wildlife habitat including a large marsh of approximately 20 acres in size, which is located less than a tenth of a mile north from the Lazy K Ranch. This expansive protected open space and assemblage of willows and large marshes boasts some of the valley’s highest concentrations of moose, waterfowl and sand-hill cranes.

There is plenty of storage throughout the home including a bonus room currently used as a game room. Attached is a two-bay garage with room for vehicles and outdoor equipment.
Recreation: In addition to world-class fishing and hunting, Teton Valley offers ample recreational activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Throughout the surrounding area, mountain biking and hiking trails are publically accessed in the Big Hole Mountains on the west side of the valley and in the Teton Mountains on the east side of the valley. Teton Valley is quickly becoming one of the premiere mountain biking destinations in the country. Trails are maintained by the US Forest Service and volunteers organized by Teton Valley Trails and Pathways. These trails also serve as excellent horseback riding trails. During the winter months, Teton Valley Trails and Pathways maintain 4 Nordic ski courses, in addition to others found within the valley. Twelve miles to the east is Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort, which receives over 500 inches of light powder snow annually. Boasting terrific terrain and short lift lines, this is a downhill skier’s paradise. Nordic tracks are maintained throughout the season and in the summer these trails become the playground for mountain bikers, downhill bikers and hikers.
