Located in Idaho’s wild and scenic Henry’s Fork basin, the Greater Yellowstone Legacy Ranch is one of West’s premiere offerings.  Bordering public lands on three boundaries, the 603 deeded acres are comprised of open meadows, healthy river bottom, rolling hillsides, quaking aspen groves throughout and healthy stands of dark timber creating the perfect setting for a uniquely private ranch retreat.  Originating in Yellowstone National Park, one mile of the wild freestone Fall River bisects the ranch as it flows out of Targhee National Forest on its way down to its confluence with the famous Henry’s Fork River approximately 22 miles downstream.

The ranch boasts a custom 4,800sqft 4 bed/3.5 bath lodge-style home set right along the banks of the Fall River complete with gourmet kitchen, master wing and spectacular flowing water and mountain views out of every window.  The property has its own private bridge spanning the Fall River connecting the main home and equestrian barn to the riverside guest house across the way.

The Greater Yellowstone Legacy Ranch provides endless recreational opportunities with its abundant river frontage, forest boundary on three sides as well as private horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking along the ranch’s five miles of developed paths & trails.  The property is located in a mecca of trophy trout streams including the Henry’s Fork River, the South Fork of the Snake, the Teton, the Snake, and Montana’s Madison River all within 15 minutes to 1.5 hours from the ranch.  Essentially an extension of Yellowstone, this region is known for its abundant wildlife including elk, mule deer, moose, bear, wolves and other native species.
