Granite Antler Ranch
Details & Features
Welcome to Granite Antler Ranch, this is one of the premiere ranches for hunting record book scoring white tail deer in Llano County. The 940 acre high fence oasis offers the most astounding views from the large peaks that you can see for miles. Not only do you have the Granite mountains to thank for the views but you also have beautiful pasture land for grazing livestock that is spotted with amazing oak trees. There is no shortage of water on this ranch, there are 3 ponds placed around the property and 4 water wells that are spaced throughout for use for livestock and a back-up water source for the hunting lodge. The hunting lodge is a 4bed/4bath bardominium that offers just over 2400 sq ft of living space. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor that each have their own door to the front porch and their own en-suite bathroom. The master bed is located upstairs with its own bathroom that has a jetted tub. If you take a short walk over to the pool and hot tub you will find nothing short of the perfect entertainment space. There you have a man cave/game room that has a full bar and bathroom as well. On the other side of the pool there is a one bed one bath guest casita. That is not all for the lodging on the ranch, down by the working pens there is another one bed one bath apartment with a kitchenette as well. The main water source for the lodging is a 58,000 gallon rainwater collection system with a 3 stage purification system.
There are individual breeding pens if you want to continue the strong genetics of the deer currently on the ranch. This ranch is truly spectacular and has too many attributes to list. Set up a time to see this ranch today.
Texas
Texas is massive, it’s second-largest behind Alaska. Venture from East Texas pines and rivers, to the deserts of West Texas across the sprawling high plains of the Texas Panhandle, the Edwards Plateau, and the Texas Hill Country down into the gulf coast region. With ten natural regions (or ecoregions) there’s an extreme variety in the land and habitat by region. Ranches vary in usage from commercial hunting and exotic high-fenced ranches to large cattle-grazing lands and quail-hunting grounds. With strong tax incentives from agricultural exemptions, one can still see thriving populations of longhorn cattle and well-managed white-tailed trophy deer herds. The Guadalupe Mountains stand at over 8,700 feet above sea level in West Texas, a disrupting site for those who still assume Texas is only a desert flatland. Texas has seen an influx of inhabitants from neighboring states in an effort to take advantage of no state income tax, and the favorable layout of large cities and wide-open spaces. It’s possible to be entirely isolated in many parts of the state while being within a 60-minute drive of a large city, airport, and all the amenities. There’s something beautiful for everyone here, whether it’s hills, mountains, desert, high plains or forest. Whatever view you love, you can find it in Texas.
