Steeped in history, Fox Trail Farm is an exquisite representation of a 19th century homestead exquisitely preserved and seamlessly blended with modern architectural additions throughout the homesite complex. The main house was constructed circa 1867 using the Mortise and Tenon building technique with hand-hewn heart of pine often seen in the 19th-century structures around the rural south. The 28-acre homesite offers various opportunities including equestrian complex development or plant it for fall dove season. Surrounding the 28 acre home site are approximately 447 acres of Loblolly Pine, stocked fishing pond with a supplemental well. Trophy whitetail deer, wild turkeys and migratory ducks are frequently seen at Fox Trail Farm. There are several water features flowing through the gently sloping topography eventually making their way into the Coosawhatchie River providing ideal habitat for many unique plant species.
