DuNoir Valley Ranch
Details & Features
The DuNoir Valley Ranch is a stunning 113-acre parcel located at the base of the Ramshorn Peak, just outside of Dubois, Wyoming. Tucked away in its own private valley, this alpine ranch offers incredible seclusion and fantastic views of the Wind River and Absaroka Mountain Ranges. Comprised mostly of forested slopes dominated by spruce and aspens, there is also lush open meadow acreage. Bordered on three sides by Shoshone National Forest, the DuNoir Valley Ranch provides ideal habitat for elk, deer, moose and the occasional Bighorn sheep. In addition to the National Forest boundary, the 704,529-acre Washakie Wilderness is also located just one mile from the property’s boundary. When combined with Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, this backcountry system offers millions of acres and endless recreation to explore directly from the ranch. Bisecting the valley just below the ranch, the Wind River offers some of the best and varied fishing in the Rockies, though inhabited predominately by cutthroat trout. The 5500-square foot main house has been strategically placed to take advantage of the sweeping views in all directions. A horse barn, three-bay garage, and large three-sided machine shed lend abundant storage for horses and equipment.
