Just below Nevada Lake off of Mt. Highway 141, you will find the Cozy Lane Retreat sitting above the valley floor. Headquarters
The 168-acre property was purchased by the sellers back in 2017 and completely remodeled to display a structure often referred to as Montana or mountain elegant. Beautiful hand-hewn logs, oiled and chinked with no signs of deferred maintenance create a rustic exterior.
When you step through the front door the first thing you notice is the attention to detail. New flooring reclaimed from old wooden grain bins immediately captures your attention. A spacious entry for coats and shoes with a full bath and office opens up into an open dining room and large kitchen. Off the main entrance a separate enclosed pet room with a dog shower and separate washer and dryer is immaculately maintained.
The kitchen is built for a chef with a Bluestar Range being the focal point. The attention to detail requires you to open every drawer and cupboard to understand the thought and efficiency that went into its creation. It is truly designed for someone who has a passion for organization and cooking. The open floor plan invites you to continue the tour. A large table for feeding guests, a sunroom and living room open off the dining room, as well as a large deck which is ½ covered, creating shade and sun space with beautiful views.
Climb the stairs to a master bedroom, custom baths with a Toto toilets, soaker tub and walk in shower, including his and her custom closets adorn the space. The master bedroom also has a mini split AC/Heating unit on the wall to manage comfort. A guestroom with separate bath and a den is upstairs as well.
The basement displays a workout room with rubberized flooring with an additional laundry room. A door to the mechanical opens to a new HVAC and humidifier system. There is access out of the basement to the outside in the tradition of a root cellar door.
All the electrical has been redone, complete with enough internet and cell phone service to operate a remote business while streaming Netflix videos.
Being 4,168 sf on three levels, the use of space is well thought out to give you everything you need to feel comfortable. The 600-sf guest cabin was also completely updated and gives you separate privacy from your guests.

Recreation
There are few parts of the West that offer year-round recreational choices. The Nevada Creek Valley is one of the least known and best kept secrets in Montana. Hikers, hunters, and backcountry enthusiasts enjoy close proximity to the Rocky Mountain Front, accessing both the Bob Marshall and Scapegoat Wilderness areas. The upper Blackfoot watershed provides incredible fly fishing. Big game hunting, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, mountaineering skiing, along with ice fishing create endless opportunities for recreation in the winter months.

Wildlife
Cozy Lane Retreat borders state land which borders the Hoodoo Wilderness area. Hoodoo Wilderness includes forested areas with open grassland parks, and wet meadows. The area provides habitat for a variety of wildlife, including elk, moose, deer, black bear, grouse, wolverine and mountain lion.
