LIVE WATER
As a fishing destination, the Bitterroot Bend is also nonpareil. Anglers travel from across the globe to fish the Bitterroot, whose main draw is its incredible 9-month-long dry-fly season, quite possibly the longest of any river in Montana. A private boat ramp on the property allows floaters to offset timing from other float traffic, and outstanding wade fishing side-channels and runs abound, all within a short walk from the back deck. Non-anglers will find prolific birding opportunities, as well as wildlife such as elk, white tail and mule deer, and black bear to view and enjoy.
