JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. (June 20, 2019) – Live Water Properties continues a season of unprecedented growth with the addition of Sam Houser of Portland, Oregon and Toby Griffith of Cody, Wyoming. Both join the ranch brokerage firm as natives of their respective states, which brings an added level of experiences and expertise to Live Water Properties’ client base in Oregon and Wyoming.
As a fourth generation Portland native, Sam has spent a lifetime enjoying the outdoors and all the beauty Oregon has to offer through hunting, fishing, skiing and river rafting experiences. His career has centered around the outdoor lifestyle, working for Korkers Footwear, Havelock Wool and most recently LaCrosse/Danner Footwear prior to joining Live Water. His background in sales, marketing and advertising provide a strong foundation to focus on connecting land with the people who value it and matches Live Water Properties’ commitment to service clients with knowledgeable real estate professionals and outdoor enthusiasts.
Toby is a Wyoming native, University of Wyoming graduate, Wyoming business owner and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys pursuing big game and fly fishing around the world. Growing up in his family’s outfitting and ranching business gave Toby an intimate knowledge of the area and created the desire to be part of the conservation and preservation of Wyoming’s great land and outdoors. Real estate was a natural progression for him. Toby brings 15 years’ experience to Live Water, having represented over $100M in ranch sales in Wyoming and Montana. He has built a reputation for being straightforward, honest, having integrity, professionalism, knowledge, a strong work ethic and a passion to exceed expectations, all of which Live Water Properties and the entire team have been known to have since their inception.
Live Water’s business model is built on brokers who “live the lifestyle they sell”; Sam and Toby both emulate this. “Toby’s hunting and fishing stories from across the globe could keep you entertained for days. His ranch real estate career has been equally impressive,” says Live Water Properties Vice President John Merritt. “Sam comes to Live Water Properties with a variety of experience and expertise, notably in recreational pursuits throughout the Pacific Northwest. His hunting and fishing resume is impressive to go along with a successful history in business and sales.” Live Water’s growth in Oregon and Wyoming follows the company’s growth in Montana and Colorado as well as a new branch in the South Eastern United States.
